Trends we hope will disappear and never return!!

Trends come and go, but style evolves and for the most part, remains the same. With every New Year, new trends are forecast, whether good or bad, they quickly invade our spaces and become the new ‘It’ thing.
As with everything, trends constantly change, while others baffle as to why they even existed in the first place. As such, we have listed a few trends or things we hope we will never have to see again for a very long time.
• Colour Blocking
Admittedly, while colour blocking does look good and appealing with the right combination of colours, it has well and truly overstayed its welcome. This trend has been heavily done and in some cases unflatteringly so. The only thing left now is to say au revoir to this colourful spectacle.
• Wedge Sneakers
This was a pretty simple and easy concept, Combining half wedge and half sneaker to create the ultimate swag and chic shoe…while some may love the result, others really hate it. This is one trend that doesn’t look like it’s going to disappear any time soon, but all we have to say is…WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!
• Half shaved heads
Edgy; unique; bold?! How about shaving it all off then.
Leggings as pants
This is one of the most unflattering and somewhat ‘disturbing’ trends to have landed on planet earth, let’s just be clear for a second, leggings are not a bad idea but when they are worn as pants, than that’s where the problem arises. Simply put, Leggings are not pants…finish and klaar.
• Harem pants
Love them or loathe them, this very tricky trend not only made an unprecedented comeback, but also somewhat revived the flagging career of the almost forgotten mc Hammer. Although they are comfortable, what other enduring appeal does these drop crotch trousers have? As quickly as ‘hammer time’ disappeared, this trend should follow suit.
• Acid wash jeans
This ‘fading’ trend is back and gaining momentum; the era of DIY jean bleaching is once again upon us. Hate it or love, it isn’t going anyway, so better get accustomed to it…unfortunately.
